We had an open house today that resulted in over 25 to 30 groups of a minimum of 4 people (so about 100 people) that came to see our new listing in Windemere. It was interesting to see how much interest was shown and how many people were visiting from Cupertino or Fremont. I asked one family from Cupertino how much the home on Salisbury would sell for in Cupertino and they told me it would sell for $2,000,000! That is over 100% of the asking price of Salisbury. It was easy to understand why so many people are leaving Cupertino (many are renting and want to buy). Many of the visitors have been making offers on other homes in Windemere but have missed out. The market has shifted in Windemere since last summer. Just 6 months ago, a home selling for $725,000 would now be selling for $800,000. That is an increase of approx. 12% in just 6 months!

We are reviewing offers on Tuesday for Salisbury and we expect to get many offers. We have many more new listings coming on the market so stay tuned…
